Widening the Modulo SP for a more efficient unloading process
Many companies work with big bags daily, but unloading them is still too often done manually. This is time-consuming, physically demanding, and doesn't always result in an efficient process. That's why we develop various standard big bag unloading stations that help companies work faster, safer, and more cost-efficiently. However, no two companies are the same—so customization is often necessary. Thanks to our experience and in-house production, we can adapt quickly and develop solutions that seamlessly fit the customer's needs.
Our customer's challenge in the United States
A customer from the USA saw the advantages of our Modulo SP, but faced one problem: the standard dimensions didn't fit into their existing work processes. To optimally utilize the unloading station, the frame had to be adapted to specific dimensions and operating conditions. Therefore, the customer asked us to help them develop a custom solution.
Our tailor-made solution: an extended Modulo SP
Together with the customer, we analyzed the entire workflow. Based on this analysis, we developed a customized, extended version of the Modulo SP. Thanks to a few targeted modifications, the customer can now dispense big bags directly into the transport container, significantly speeding up and simplifying the process.
The most important changes:

Widening of the chassis
The legs have been widened at the bottom to the customer's exact measurements, so that the unloading station fits perfectly onto the transport container. -
Adjusted height of the release valve
By lowering the height, the product's drop height has been minimized. This reduces dust generation and therefore creates a cleaner working environment. -
Added anti-tilt protection
For added safety, a sturdy anti-tip device is mounted on the frame. This protects employees while working with heavy big bags.
The result
The customer now has three fully customized Modulo SP unloading stations that perfectly match their work processes. The result: a more efficient workflow, less manual work, reduced dust generation, and increased employee safety.
